Coast Guard: Yacht blast hoax calls came from land

Two hoax calls reporting an explosion on a motor yacht off New Jersey came from land, triggering a rescue effort that cost tens of thousands of dollars and raised questions about how to prevent such a waste of resources, the Coast Guard said Tuesday.
